The Irish Times/Poetry Now Award is presented annually to the author of the best collection of poems published in English by an Irish poet in the previous year. The winner will be chosen from this shortlist of collections published in 2016. Recent winners include Caitriona O'Reilly, Theo Dorgan, Sinéad Morrissey, Dennis O’Driscoll, Michael Longley and Seamus Heaney. This year’s judges are Declan Meade, Olivia O'Leary, and Michael O'Loughlin. The winner will receive €2,000.
