Playwriting in Action with Conall Morrison

Can you teach someone to write a play in three hours? No, but the right person can give them a good idea what a great play looks like from the inside. 'Playwriting in Action' is an afternoon of dramatic exploration, engagement and personal polemic presented by one of Ireland's most original theatre practitioners, Conall Morrison, currently Pavilion Theatre's Artist in Residence 2011. As well as being an acclaimed playwright himself, Conall has worked as Dramaturg and Director on the new plays of some of Ireland's best known writers including Tom Murphy, Marina Carr and Gary Mitchell.
