Crime Writing Workshop

 Celebrated crime writer and journalist Declan Burke will guide participants through the principles of good crime writing and will talk about the particular nuances of this popular form. He will explore the craft of the genre, outlining the elements that comprise a compelling novel. Declan hosts a website dedicated to Irish crime fiction called Crime Always Pays and his book Absolute Zero Cool received the Goldsboro Last Laugh Award for Best Humorous Crime Novel in 2012. He is a regular contributor and literature reviewer on RTÉ and for The Irish Times.
