these islands in years’, Kevin Barry was born in
Limerick in 1969. His first collection of stories,
There Are Little Kingdoms, featured as a book
of the year in both The Sunday Tribune and
The Irish Times and was awarded the 2007
Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. His
debut novel is City of Bohane. He lives in Sligo.
Dermot Healy is a poet, novelist and dramatist.
He lives in County Sligo and is the author of A
Goat’s Song, Sudden Times and The Bend for Home.
He has won the Hennessy Award (twice),
the Tom Gallon Award, the Encore Award
and the AW B Vincent
American Ireland Fund
Literary Award. Long Time
No See is his fourth novel.
